Greenfield School - Kent
Landscape proposals for a new school development in Kent. The design was based upon a main path flowing through the site and creating a series of 'outdoor rooms'. These included sensory, vegetable, learning and play areas. Vibrant colours and textures used through the planting and material selection further enhanced the scheme.
Playground Design – Broughton Road, Skipton
Production of working drawings and detailed specification for the successful redevelopment of a small residential play area close to Skipton's town centre. The scheme included various aspects of modern and traditional play equipment interconnected with modern safety surfaces. Ornamental tree planting contributed to the sites features and helped softened the local environment.
Recreational Play Area Design – Burnside, Skipton
Redevelopment of a large recreational play area including a cycle trail, basket ball zone, children's play area, seating, dog walking zone and a football pitch. The open recreational ground to the edge of Skipton holds expansive views across the nearby countryside and hills, adding to the sites natural character.
Landscape Arrangement & Ornamental Meadow - Ilkley
TEL Landscape was requested to create a landscape layout to a traditional Yorkshire farm house with an ornamental meadow as the centre piece. The design also includes ornamental fruit trees and a contemporary fire place to the formal dinning area.
Holbeck Urban Village Design Competition - Leeds
To develop sustainable environments that encourage wildlife such as birds, insects, bats and even otters into Leeds city centres award winning regeneration area of Holbeck. Proposals included green roofs/walls, sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS), additional tree planting and native meadows to disused areas.
Playground Design – High Bentham, Settle
TEL Landscape were commissioned to design and project manage the redevelopment of the community playground found in the Yorkshire dales village of High Bentham. The scheme involved enhancing the sites entrances, area of level playing surface and updating the play equipment. Within the scheme, areas of natural play, toddler areas, a timber fitness trail and an aerial runway were created.
